Joint injections for pain relief in Stafford
We believe injections should support recovery — not replace good rehabilitation.
For suitable conditions, we offer steroid joint injections and hyaluronic acid injections as part of a carefully considered treatment plan.
- Joint injections may be appropriate for:
persistent joint pain that has not settled with physiotherapy alone - osteoarthritis-related pain and stiffness
- inflammatory flare-ups affecting movement and function
- patients seeking pain relief to support rehabilitation and activity
All injections are:
- preceded by a full clinical assessment
- offered only where appropriate and evidence-based
- delivered within a wider physiotherapy-led management plan

We are extended scope physiotherapists
At Stafford Physio we have extended our physiotherapy qualifications at a masters level. This enables us to be able to prescribe prescription only medication and administer Joint Injections - Steroid injections or Hyaluronic acid injections
No one likes taking medication or having steroid injections and the vast majority of the time we can provide treatment options that will reduce pain without the need of either medication or Steroid injections. However, there are times when a short course of pain relief can be a significant help. Steroid injections can provide quick and effective resolution to your pain. We are currently the only local physiotherapy clinic with the qualifications to be able to provide this service.
