Russell Shill Physiotherapist, Director of Stafford Physio specialist in steroid joint injections

Russell Shill - Director of Stafford Physio and Extended Scope Physiotherapist

Russell Shill is an experienced Extended Scope Physiotherapist, originally from Stroud, Gloucestershire, whose journey into the field began with his personal training work at Forest Green Rovers Football Club. As a keen sportsman with firsthand experience of injuries, he discovered his passion for physiotherapy and pursued it at Keele University, graduating in 2007.

Since then, Russell has advanced his expertise with numerous postgraduate qualifications, including Injection Therapy, Independent Prescribing, and specialised courses in ultrasound-guided injections and manipulation therapy.

When not in clinic he is either a 'Dad Taxi', for his two children, riding his bike, walking/running with his dog or behind a BBQ.

Michael Bentley - Senior Physiotherapist

Michael Bentley is a Senior Physiotherapist with a strong academic foundation and a passion for sports and exercise. He holds a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from Keele University, graduating in 2022, and an undergraduate degree in Sport and Exercise Science, which has shaped his evidence-based and performance-focused approach to rehabilitation.

With a deep understanding of biomechanics, athletic performance, and injury prevention, Mike brings a specialist perspective to musculoskeletal care, particularly in sports-related injuries. His clinical interests lie in helping both amateur and elite athletes recover from injury, optimise movement, and return to peak condition safely and effectively.

He is committed to supporting patients in achieving their goals—whether it’s returning to sport, improving fitness, or managing long-term conditions through exercise.

Olivia Rawlinson - Senior Physiotherapist

She combines expert manual therapy with targeted exercise prescription and education to help clients recover quickly and confidently. Her extensive postgraduate training includes dry needling, Mulligan’s techniques, concussion management, and a FIFA diploma in football medicine—giving her a comprehensive toolbox to support people from all walks of life.

Outside the clinic, Olivia is an accomplished athlete who has represented both Wellington Masters and New Zealand Masters hockey teams on the international stage. She recently competed in the Masters World Cup in South Africa and will travel to Australia for the Trans-Tasman tournament in 2025.
